whim·si·cal (hwim′zi kəl, wim′-)

I consider this figure, inspired in the painting Las Meninas by Diego Velázquez, pretty whimsical. my mother have them for years. so I decided to photograph one to illustrate my last (sigh) Raining Umbrellas exercise. used French Kiss textures on this one. does my editing look whimsical to you? would love to know :)

I think that that photo is perfectly whimsical! I love Velazquez' work and think it's seriously cool that you have figures from your mom. My mom's things all went missing except her bible and one of the little pewter frogs from her frog collection.

:) thank you dear. I live with my mom since 2008, when my illness was diagnosed. I don't have much things of my own since then, had to travel light (only brought my cat, clothes and pc) had to leave my life behind, my house, books, everything. internet - and my new camera - are my world nowadays.
