Edit Me - Week 13

* mouse over to see the before *

this is my second contribution to Branson's Edit Me photo challenge. each week we are given one image to edit as we wish and then share the recipe. honestly, I don't know exactly what I did! I played a lot with the adjustments, I liked the result and then added a French Kiss texture. you can download the original photo here.

something strong around, and something soft and peaceful to where the very little boat is going. Beautiful.
Love, mom.

Love the texture on this and how it now looks like a painting. You did a great job on this. It's much better than the original!

Looks very much like a canvas to be hung in a home. Very nice.

What a stunning post processing, Ana! Well done! :D

I saw your comment @ my blog. We live in a big town, but we are lucky because the countryside is not far away. There are many small parks a few minutes from our flat, and many big country parks not far away by bus/train. Like the county park with the cute Highland Cows :) or the woods. Scotland is quite rich of green areas, luckily. I still think of Italy as HOME, but Scotland is quite lovely and gives many opportunity to see wildlife. Even if we are in a town, the river is full of ducks, swans, herons, coots... and the park next to our condo has foxes, bunnies... not bad. But I sure miss not having a furry baby. After my hubby kitty Milla died 5 years ago, we had to give up the idea of having a new pet. :/ But never say never, right?

Sorry for my rumbling, I can be a chatterbox at times. Have a lovely day! Ciao!

:) dear Kia, I love reading you. I understand the HOME feeling, I was born in Lisbon (our capital) but have to live in Porto (up North) 190 miles away and I feel I'm away from home. and it's the same country! but the light and the city are different. all my friends are down there. I'm a bit lost up here. in September I'll be doing a photography workshop to learn how to work better with my camera and start using manual functions. I hope to find some people interested in doing photographic tours with me because I truly need a group with the same interests. I'm hoping Life will give me that chance :) I don't go out photographing as much as I would like because I feel lonely and lost (and I always get a sunburn! lol) xoxo
