Sweet Ana! You are such a dear person - thank you for your kind and welcome words. I, too, am sorry you had to retire at such a young age! Thank God you are getting back into things with your photography. Love your kitties-great shots! Ra' looks like our youngest, Coy-Coy.

We have 2 black, two grey, and two calico (3 boys and 3 girls). All are rescued. Talk about different personalities! They are just like children - all unique. The black ones(boys) just love to get into trouble!

Please stay in touch! I'm glad to have made friends like you and Bunny through her Bunny Hop party!

God Bless,
XoXoXo
Joy

dear @Tara, you're a very special woman. I see marriage through your eyes and fall in love with the thought of it. thank you so much for all that you share.

@Em, they sleep a lot! but Kuki likes to chase Rá and Axé almost every day. she is the wildest. she lived alone with me for five years, only lives with other cats since 2008. sometimes it's messy, lol. Cléo only thinks about her meals and she takes long naps with me (which I love). that is why most of her photos were taken in my bed. Kuki is a bit like a dog, very possessive of my attention.

@Joy (what a beautiful name) they're definitely like children :) all unique. Kuki is also black and the trouble maker of the house! we used to have six cats as well (2 males and 4 females) but lost two this year. they're all so special. ours were rescued too. our cats are family related for three generations already. Kuki and Axé are siblings (the parents live with my sister) and Kuki's father was one of Guini's babies. she died last month. we, cats lovers, are dangerous when we start talking about them, lol! they're so funny. they make me laugh every day and I love them even more for that :)

Awwwww, your furry babies are so cute, Ana! I'd love to cuddle them all! :) Hubby and I don't have any pet anymore 'cos I am allergic to cats (and horses, bunnies...) and hubby to dogs. Such a sad thing... I realized I was allergic to cats when I was about 10 y-o and had 15 lovely kitties. One of the saddest days of my life.
You know, I just realized you are leaving comments here at your blog... I must remember to check next time. :)
Have a lovely day.

Hi dear Kia :) yes, I answer here and in everyone's blogs. when I've the time. I LOVE your last post with the rainbow texture. the original photo is beautiful but the edited one is dreamy! I've to check those textures!! so happy you're sharing the link :) xo

Kia said...

Ops, and here you are :) Thanks for your sweet words. :) I always share the texture links (and if I forget, feel free to tell me, my memory suck especially when I am in a hubby); I do believe in always give credit where credit is due. In my opinion naming where the stock comes from is not enough, a link back should be a must. Always. It's just a little gesture that does not cost anything and would be must appreciated by the generous artists that share their talent (like Kim Klassen, for ex). :)
Anna and Mat have AWESOME textures, check them out. You won't be disappointed :)

Kia said...

Oh boy! I should have proof-read, gosh! So many errors, sorry! :P
I meant to say that my memory sucks when I'm in a hurry, LOL! ;D

Ok, last one, then I will stop bothering you for today ;) and will make dinner. If you do not know her yet, check out Temari:

She has lovely free textures too :)

:) I agree with you. credit should be given when is due but I've all my textures mixed together and when the files only have numbers, instead of names (like kk ones) I don't remember where I got them. my computer downloads everything to the same fold and I'm not very organized. I've plenty of textures I've downloaded and haven't unzipped yet. bought some from Kim Klassen and from Leslie Nicole, but there are so many everywhere! what I do is, every time I download one, I backlink all on my 'Inspiration' button on the top of the blog. I'm only using Photoshop since July and sometimes I do amazing editing but have no clue how to repeat the recipe! lol :) oops, I'm a bit messy.

Ana Eugenio said...

you don't bother at all dear! thank you so much for Temari's link :) I'm definitely not buying any more textures with all these amazing work available. the only issue is that I can use Kim's and Leslie's textures if I wish to sell my photos on Etsy and with these free ones I can't. but Temari's work is truly inspiring! I've a few I want to use already. have to take some pictures to play with those, lol :)

Beautiful cats! Lovely friends they are, great companions :)

Kia said...

For the little I've seen so far, you always give credit :) and I am sure it's much appreciated. Many people don't, they just use free textures (or digital scrapbook elements/papers) implying they are their own, even if you can see they are from Kim or other artists. It's a pity. Oh well, time for a relaxing evening :) I will be back with more time to have a look at your Etsy shop. I usually keep away from it 'cos I have a very limited budget (I am not working anymore) and Etsy is full of gorgeous things ;)
Happy Friday!

@Elizabete, obrigada querida :)

@Kia, I'm retired since last year, due to health issues. to me, Etsy is like going to a good museum :) stay tuned, I'm thinking on starting a giveaway next week! xo
