Photographic {Tour} ~ Porto, Portugal

when I got my first cellphone, back in 1996, I used to feel really awkward answering it in the middle of the street, so I used to stop in these public cabins and talk inside them. the lost of privacy was tricky for a while. was it easy for you?

It reminds me a lot of the red phone boxes in London.

I have to confess that I use very seldom my cellphone. I just do not see the need to be everywhere reachable. Well, I love to have one for emergencies.

Thanks for the birthday wish!

Hrm- When I first got my cell phone I wouldn't ever answer it in front of anyone else. But you certainly had a good idea for privacy!

I have an old friend who lives in Porto. I've never been there. Is this what I can expect to see when I finally go for a visit? Lovely!

IF I WERE A SHADOW

If I were a shadow,
I would seek the light;
There I would glow sleekly,
Black and shiny bright!

What a great composition - I like how you have captured the tree trunk next to the phone booth.
